Aside from subcontractors he hires for specific purposes, he is proudly responsible for the entire book production process. He is the quintessential indie author who stands by the quality of his writings as well as the publication of his books. An inveterate book lover, Sebastian realized that the only way he could satisfy his bibliophilic passion to the fullest was to become a publisher himself.
After having his books published by both traditional corporate publishers and small presses, he decided he had to expand the scope of his book production possibilities. With the extraordinary advancements in publishing and communications technology, as an author, typography enthusiast, book designer, and bibliophile extraordinaire, becoming a publisher was a common sense decision.
Furthermore, considering that the author is the one who’s primarily responsible to promote his work, surrendering comprehensive rights while forfeiting the satisfaction of the creative process makes absolutely no sense to someone, who is not only capable, but delights himself in the intellectual and artistic process of developing book projects.
